The ways we live and do things have greatly been modified by ICTs. In homes, schools and industries computers are steadily replacing the human presence. ICTs should no longer be looked upon as a luxury.Zambia, just like many other countries embraced the use and integration of ICTs in the delivery of education. In 2007 National ICT policy was formulated with emphasis on ICT in education. In 2013, The Ministry of General Education (MoGE) in Zambia reviewed the National School Curriculum introducing ICT as a subject at junior secondary school level. The development was received with mixed feelings across the nation. This prompted an interrogation of teachersī and pupilsī perceptions of ICT as an examinable curriculum subject in secondary schools of Mazabuka District, Southern Province of Zambia.
