The ways we live and do things have greatly been modified by ICTs. In homes, schools and industries computers are steadily replacing the human presence. ICTs should no longer be looked upon as a luxury.Zambia, just like many other countries embraced the use and integration of ICTs in the delivery of education. In 2007 National ICT policy was formulated with emphasis on ICT in education. In 2013, The Ministry of General Education (MoGE) in Zambia reviewed the National School Curriculum introducing ICT as a subject at junior secondary school level. The development was received with mixed feelings across the nation. This prompted an interrogation of teachers´ and pupils´ perceptions of ICT as an examinable curriculum subject in secondary schools of Mazabuka District, Southern Province of Zambia.

Moono, Siana
Siana Moono, born on 4th November 1978. Went to Kaleya East primary,Mazabuka, St. Edmunds secondary, Mazabuka, Nkrumah college of education and University of Zambia. A teacher by profession with 15 years of service and currently serving as Guidance teacher at St. Edmund´s secondary school, Mazabuka, Zambia.
