Candida Höfer, geboren 1944 in Eberswalde, Studium von 1973 - 1982 Film und anschließend Photogaphie an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Zahlreiche Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen seit 1975. Zuletzt präsent auf der "documenta" 2002.
