The book covers and assesses the performance of maize production in Tanzania Prisons Services farms. It considers production under two funding systems namely retention and revolving. The book also analyzes the profitability of maize production between the two systems. Factors affecting maize and challenges facing maize productivity respectively are comprised in this book. The book can be very functional for Tanzania Prisons Services and other prisons in different countries to adopt the funding system which is more profitable for agricultural production.
