Lemtouni, Aicha
Dr Lemtouni was born in Marrakech in a family of Murabitin origins. Her love for poetry grew with her father´s readings of Moutanabbi, Abou Firas El Hamadani, El Maarri and many other Arab poets. Her first poem was written in 2012 after a sudden death of her brother. She is a doctor in Nutrition, with a background in Agronomy.
