The main purpose of this book is to introduce Interactive Whiteboards to teachers. SMARTBoard is one of the interactive whiteboards which are widely used in the teaching and learning process. This book discusses some key research evidences of the use of interactive whiteboards. It also guides the readers towards the general benefits of using the interactive whiteboards for both teachers and students. The author discusses the use of peer coaching to support teachers in using the interactive whiteboards. Teacher support is vital in ensuring successful integration of technology in the teaching and learning process. A user manual on how to use a SMARTBoard is also included in this book. This user manual consists of three sections; An Introduction to SMARTBoards I, An Introduction to SMARTboards II and SMARTBoard Advance Training.
