The aim of this book is to improve the helping profession´s understanding of the phenomenon of bullying. The types of bullying which the book focuses on is physical, social and verbal. With an increase in incidences of bullying within the school environment,the author of the book endeavoured to answer the question: ´What is the impact of bullying?´The book focuses particularly on adolescent bullying and the effect it has on the sense of self.
