This book is about educating secondary school history teachers in Turkey and England based on Ph.D. thesis of Dr. smail Hakk Demircio lu completed at the University of Birmingham in UK. This study seeks to describe how secondary school history teachers are educated in Turkey and in England. To do this, it investigates the perceptions of history teacher educators and history student teachers on the process of educating secondary school history teachers in both countries.
