This is an indepth look at the role of TNF alpha polymorphisims in inflammatory bowel disease.It is well known that TNF alpha is strongly associated with inflammatory bowel disease pathogenesis.Thus This book provides an interesting approach to the pathogenisis of inflammatory bowel disease.It looks at both the genetics and the clinical relavent aspects, namely the role of infliximab in the treatment of Crohn´s disease. Infliximab was the first monclonal antibody approved to treat Crohn´s disease.
