The author narrates how God anchored her through one of life´s most trying moments.As she unfolds the story of her shocking discovery of the dreaded metastatic breast cancer, she will no doubt be a great source of inspiration to those who are facing similar trying moments.This is a dedication and a source of hope for all cancer patients especially in an African context.Despite all she went through, the author is able to wake up, shake the dust off,put on a lovely smile and courageously move on. Grace, a teacher by profession, graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University, Nairobi and a Masters of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling from the same institution.She is a volunteer and a grassroots Leader with Lance Armstrong Foundation, a founder member of Pearl of Life which is a Community Based Organization involved in cancer awareness creation programmes. Grace is a co- founder of the Aga Khan hospital cancer support group. Besides all these duties, Grace enjoys the unwavering support of her husband and three daughters from her marriage most cherished.
