The influence of the knowledge management practices as a key moderating variable which have been neglected in previous Malaysian studies, are examined using data from 123 public-listed organizations in Malaysia. Data were analyzed using the higher-order interaction effects of the Moderated Multiple Regressions analysis. Results indicated that corporate strategies and knowledge management practices positively impact organizational performance. The moderating effect of knowledge management practices explains 18% and 7% of variance in increase in the objective and subjective measures of the organization performance respectively. Result reveals that organizations among the consumer products, industrial products and services industries of PLCs in Malaysia have very different goals for knowledge management practices. The level of perceived benefits of knowledge management practices is directly related to corporate goals of the organizations. Market focused groups contribute to the highest level of organizational performance in terms of the subjective measure.
