For the studies of coexistance of antiferromagnetism , ferromagnetism and superconductivity, Zn and Ni are doped at the CuO2 planar sites in CuTl-based superconductors. We have realized the Co-existence anti-ferromagnetism and superconductivity in oxide superconductors through the doping of Zn at the CuO2 planar sites. We have also established that Ferro-magnetism and superconductivity can also co-exist in oxide high temperature superconductors. This has been established by doping Ni and Fe at the CuO2 planar sites. It has been established through experiments with Cu0.5Tl0.5Ba2Can-1-zMzCun-yZnyO2n+4-d (M=Mg, Be; n=3,4; y=0,1,2,3) systems that magnitude of superconductivity increases with enhanced carrier´s density. The fluctuation induced conductivity analysis of afore mentioned samples revealed that the coherence length and interlayer coupling J increases with Mg and Be doping.
My research interests include low anisotropy high temperature superconductors. I have served ten years as a faculty member at Department of Physics, Quiad-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan. Twenty six M. Phil and four Ph.D have completed their research work with me.
