Many analyzes on migrant workers from human rights perspectives focus on human rights violation and legal instruments, without discussing the broader political and economic context. A case study on human rights protection for Indonesian Domestic Workers in Malaysia shows how socio-economic factors shape the migration flows, the domestic and international law relates to of migrant workers.
