Many Afro-centric scholars in their writtings have criticised Islam and Christianity for belittling, changing, undermining, misinterpretation and destruction of African traditional norms,values, rituals, and practices. These negative criticisms have made the two foreign religions to be seen as enemies of culture. However many Africans have adopted these two foreign religions while at the same time they are still rooted in their cultures.
