This design proposes a range of solutions for creating a successful assisted living facility for Alzheimer´s patients. The site not only offers the patients a protected environment, but it also places them within a community where they can feel welcomed and appreciated. The program of the building serves as therapy and allows the patients to have a sense of freedom as well as purpose, such as assisting with the child care portion of the program. Finally, the sensory packed environment is a peaceful and pleasurable situation that allows the patients to enjoy the final stages of life.

is a graduate from the Wentworth Institute of Technology´s Master of Architecture program. She has work experience in historic preservation, childcare, commercial interiors, religious buildings and hospitality design. It is her ambition to one day be a principle of a design-build company.
