After the defeat of Saigon in spring 1975, massive waves of Vietnamese sought refuge in the United States. In this book three distinct refugee waves are described and their special needs and difficulties in finding their feet with the Americans explained. But how did the U.S. Government act and react, which obstacles and problems had the Vietnamese to overcome and how do they fare nowadays?
