This book focuses on final year students´ own assessment of the effect of human rights education on their social lives at school. The results of the study indicated a high level of knowledge and understanding of human rights concepts and principles: favourable perception of human rights but low perception of human dignity: students active engagement in sexual harassment and that minorities, especially ethnic minorities within Senior High School setting are not guaranteed equal rights, respect for dignity and freedoms, which could lead to manifestations of gross human rights violations in Schools; majority of students practice discrimination, specifically, discrimination based upon ethnicity: As a result, the study called for pragmatic programmes to give meaning to human rights education, promote the culture of human rights in order to build an inclusive school community and facilitate full enjoyment of every student´s right to education. This is a book for researchers, teachers, parents, human rights activists, education and school authorities. This is a book that will excite, educate and inform all who read it.
