Traveling has always been one of man´s favorite activities. With the evolvement of society, it became possible to combine the aspect of traveling with the fulfillment of one´s professional duty. Even though many people, who have to work at the same location all the time, envy those who can see the world while they earn their living, they only see the positive aspects, but neglect the fact that professional traveling has its hardships, too. Both examples chosen for this analysis are from the field of entertainment and are considered to include a lot of traveling. Professional wrestlers are on the road most of the year, just like musicians, who partially have a schedule that is not as dense as the one of athletes, but still very demanding.

was born in Vienna, Austria, on June 2nd, 1980 and graduated from the Gymnasium Aloisianum in 1998. He earned his M.A. degree in English & American Studies in 2007 at the University of Vienna, Austria and is currently writing his doctoral thesis on contemporary country music.
