Kinanthropometry is a newly emerging scientific specialization. It is the scientific study of the measurement of human movement. The knowledge of kinanthropometry is being used worldwide, drawing tremendous attention in the field of Sports Sciences, Physical Education, Human Biology, Physical Anthropology, Sports Medicine, Auxiology, Gerontology, Ergometry, Sports Physiotherapy etc. Research findings of kinanthropometry are coming up almost everyday from all corners of the globe. Dr. Shyamal Koley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, India.He holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Physical Anthropology. He has 14 years of teaching experience with 130 research publications in journals of national and international repute.
