Speaking Through the Multitude: Composition 1, 2 ´ 3 & 4 is a polyphonic composition of written words, musical notes and artworks. The live combination of which, results in ´unforeseeable sentences´, which run like ´glisses´ across the surface of the page, challenging the notion of a master narrative. The proposed repositioning of collective practice as performative Events, opens a ´space of appearance´ for protest, jazz, improvisation and movement, all of which sets a decentring dynamic in motion, providing singing side-steps to that which sovereignty stamps. This collaboratively orchestrated work drums the beat to a new ´common´ saturating colour and further possibility to a crowd of artists, performers, writers, musicians, curators, academics, theorists - and the ever-expanding ´multitude´, dot, dot, dot.
