Voice and Vision of Women Writers in Indian English Literature: A Critical Analysis is a sincere attempt to provide an in-depth study of Indian Women Writers literary works. It includes more than twenty critical essays on different latest perspectives by eminent scholars from India and abroad. The women writers that have been focused are: Anita Desai, Shashi Deshpande, Kamala Das, Jhumpa Lahiri, Nayantara Sahgal, Githa Hariharan, Gita Mehta, Bharati Mukherjee, Manju Kapur, Arundhati Roy, Shobha De, Kiran Desai, Dina Mehta, Anita Nair, Suniti Namjoshi, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, Manjula Padmnabhan, Sunetra Gupta, Mallika Sarabhai, Mamang Dai, Indira Goswami and Easterine Iralu. Dr. Indu Swami is Assistant Professor at Assam Central University, Diphu Campus. She is an active member of various academic bodies/ professional societies for promotion of Contemporary Literature in English.
