Expatriate assignments tend to cause a high degree of change both in the private and professional life of expatriates. While CHANGE brings about CHANCES for career-related development and personal growth, it also gives rise to difficulties. The "away-from-home" experience is often overshadowed by the concurrence and recurrence of multifaceted challenges. This book introduces a fairly new and hardly researched type of support that seems worth being considered as a supplement to currently available expatriate support measures: coaching for expatriates.
