Er studierte lateinamerikansiche Literatur in Harvard und Rechtswissenschaften an der Columbia Universität. Francisco X. Stork lebt heute in der Nähe von Boston, USA, wo er als Rechtsanwalt tätig ist. Er ist verheiratet und hat zwei erwachsene Kinder.
