If teachers think the best way to improve teaching is by developing content knowledge, they need to rethink. There is more to teaching it is the learning! By developing contents one can have sophisticated levels of knowledge, yet be ineffective. To imagine, content matters more than process is to imagine that the car is more important than the road.
