The United Nations Population Fund has declared HIV/AIDS is a young people´s disease. Individuals between the ages of 15 and 24 are infected every 14 seconds. Disclosure is an important factor in HIV/AIDS prevention interventions. Disclosure of ones HIV status enables for improved access to prevention and treatment programs provides increased opportunities for risk reduction and helps in planning for the future. Bazie Mekonnen Berihun has got his BSC-degree in Nursing from Jimma University, Ethiopia and his MSc-degree from Addis Ababa University.
