Today, energy demands have reached unprecedented levels, we acknowledge the crucial shortage of fossil resources the world is facing, digging for more is no longer an option, the call for alternatives is higher than ever. Construction sector have a big share of the world´s consumed energy if not the biggest, new methods with higher efficiency have to be applied. Analyzing and brainstorming leading to scientific arguments are needed, considering environmental, economical, and social aspects in order to reach high living standards for people to enjoy without exhausting the planet´s resources. Vaduz Central Station is a study project, a scenario for future development in sustainable framework. Vaduz is the capital of Liechtenstein, the central station of Vaduz to be is the main train station of the country, Nevertheless, and unlike the spontaneous anticipation of a super sized transportation hub, this book will take us through the design process of a different type of stations, a small gesture with big impact, an element that profits from deep comprehension of its surrounding, not attempting to overtake the scene, but to fit in it.
