The concept of community participation in development becomes crucial aspect in relation to sustainable development. Both local and international community´s advocate for people involvement in development processes. The need for people centered development is highly recognized in the last few decades, the development should focus on people and not things. Traditional top- down approach to development process is no longer valid; more effort is taken to use bottom-up approach to development. Mr. Kelvin Njunwa is a Senior Human Resource Officer at Mzumbe University Tanzania. He graduated in two professional masters; Msc. in Development Management University of Agder-Norway and Msc. in Human Resource Management-Mzumbe University, Tanzania. He graduated also in Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership for Community Development -ESAMI.
