Technical and Vocational Education and Training Colleges/Instituions are mandated to run two major fields of studies-Technical and Vocational fields of studies. Technical education is designed to train upper secondary and lower tertiary level trainees to prepare middle level professionals (technicians)and Vocational education is aimed to prepare trained man power at lower level professionals. Litreatures showed that females in technical and vocational training and education are not equally treated with their male counter part. Females largely participate certain field of studies. Because of this, female and male trainees do not have equal employment and professional job opportunities.The book,consquently,revealed physical environments avialable for females, females´enrollment trends,factors associated with females´choices of fields of studies and influnces of guidance and counciling services on institutions admission and placement procedures.
