Gained experiences from the study area reveal that all types of intra-regional and inter-regional gaps could be closed and socio-economic disparities could be eradicated only when if a highly decentralized approach in the form of Micro Level Planning´ is adopted. Views of local people, their necessities, aspirations, indigenous knowledge and skills, their popular participation must be incorporated and ensured for the true success of entire Micro Level Planning´ process while local resource mobilization must form the focal point of all the planning efforts. Through Micro Level Planning´ it is possible to go area by area and tackle their overall development in a disaggregated way. Poor people must be the parts and parcels of aforesaid Micro Level Planning´ process and simultaneously the deprived sections of the society and marginalized sectors of the economy should not be overlooked.
