Community participation by which people are enabled to become actively and genuinely involved in improving the quality of education because the decision and participation affect the quality of education on their beloved children. However, the study portrayed that parents are insufficiently involved in their children education in study area. This is exhibited mainly in school improvement program, curriculum design, actual teaching as a resource person and supervision of students attendance. It is recommended that the school and other stakeholders should work hand-in-hand to enhance a school based management for quality of education.

Teferi Bellow Teferi is a Master in Curriculum and Instruction, BA in Pedagogy, Post Graduate Diploma in Principal ship and Advance Diploma in Law from Addis Ababa University. He had plenty of experiences as senior high school and preparatory school director. He is now working in Ethiopian Civil service College as consultant and DLC Manager.
