Recently, Broiler industry has become a rapidly developing enterprise among the other sector of poultry production. But they are facing higher price and non-availability of feed ingredients to the growth of commercial poultry enter price. This book extremely sorts out the main causes of the problem and its solutions. The study revealed that the major causes of the hindering the growth of commercial poultry enter price in the study area were: limited availability and expensive of conventional feedstuffs and agro-industrial by-products, the growing poultry industry directly computed with cereals feed of human population, regulations restricted the use of animal protein sources as animal feed and micro feed ingredients are not accessible. The study also revealed replacing the expensive commercial feed ingredients with azolla locally available unconventional protein sources, alternative source of cheap protein diet, complement the amino acid deficiencies in cereal based broiler rations, reduce the production cost for poultry, significant economic implication and improved the performance of carcass characteristics of broiler chicks.
