The modern world is an evolution of the previous times. Greeks have embedded their philosophies in the modern western living. It is laying in the foundation in almost every field; let it be art, medicine, politics, and culture. The concept of democracy started from the Greeks, the first design of an electronics tooth brush was presented in the classic roman era by the great master Leonardo Di Vinci. The concepts as we have today the things as we see today were gradual conceptual development that was rationalized and revolutionized in the Greek times by the Greek scholars´ writers, poets, engineers´ architects and artists. We see the modern concepts and futuristic approach towards things contributing to improve the life styles or bringing about a larger change in the society. Buddhism was also a revolutionary innovation in the prevailing philosophies whish brought about drastic changes in the way of living. Buddhist philosophies were as modern for the east as Greeks were for the west. A prominent example of it is the first brain surgery taking place in the Buddhist monastery in Taxila.
