Nowadays, oyster mushroom cultivation has become increasing in the developing countries like Ethiopia. But the yield is lower which is due to the substrate performance, availability and cost difference of Substrates materials. The author ,Anteneh Getahun, was born on September, 1983 in Hirna, Ethiopia.In 2004, graduated with a B.Sc degree in Crop Science. Soon after, he was employed as an instructor in ATVET Colleges. In February,2011 he graduated with Master of Science degree in Agronomy from Mekelle University. Now, he is working an Instructor in Assosa ATVET College.
