Throughout history, teachers have occupied a pivotal place. This work is a comparative study of two teachers. This book has taken its point of departure from the book, ´Jesus as a Teacher´ authored by Professor.J.T.Dillon of the University of California at Riverside, USA. The book compares in a descriptive way, Sri Ramanuja´s teachings to Jesus. Several aspects of their teachings such as context, writings, disciples and impact of teachings have been compared. This book raises and answers several vital questions such as Who were Sri Ramanuja and Jesus? , What did they teach and why? , Where and when or in what circumstances did Sri Ramanuja and Jesus teach? , Whom did Sri Ramanuja and Jesus teach? , How did Sri Ramanuja and Jesus carry out their teaching? , How did Sri Ramanuja and Jesus use language to teach? , Who learned what from their teaching? , How well did they teach? , How good a teacher was each of them? . The different aspects of the teaching have been comprehensively analyzed and summarized as part of this book.
