The introduction of the new language policy of Ethiopia could be seen as a major development in the country and an indicator of the development of a culture of peace as well. However; this new language policy, which was introduced by the federal government of Ethiopia, led to many controversies in the political scenario of the country. There have been a growing number of concerns in the country that the newly introduced language policy is a mere indicator of the brink of collapse of Education in the country. This book, therefore, provides analysis of university students´ attitude towards the policy. The study makes an attempt to provide a bird´s-view of the pedagogical impact of the policy vis-à-vis the political scenario. This work can provide valuable information for policy makers and the community in general about the how to deal with the language policy issue, especially in multi-lingual countries like Ethiopia.
