Informal institutions plays vital role in the day to day activities of people even in some instances more than formal institutions because they are organized by the people for the people themselves and has been playing their role for hundreds of years in the society. They are well imbedded with the community to the extent that not a single person lives without submitting himself to the rules and regulations of these institutions in order to enjoy the benefits out of them. However, new strategies and interventions of the government often ignore the informal institutions´ role and assumed to achieve their new goal by establishing new setting or environmental´ context. These informal institutions have not been consulted and there has been no room for their participation at all levels of the interventions. Due to their exclusion, programs and interventions fail to achieve their objectives one way or the other.
