Is the Arab League equipped to intervene in Arab conflicts and is it able to mediate disputes between Arab states? The record seems to indicate that the Arab League has succeeded in resolving certain conflicts, failed in resolving others, and was able to prevent others from escalating. This research shall try to investigate the extent of the Arab League success, the reasons for its failure, and formulate suggestions that could help the Arab League to become more effective in mediating disputes among Arab states and helping the cause of peace and stability in the Arab world. In doing so, this monograph shall also try to give some information about the history of the Arab League; its Charter; its Objectives, its Performances: Accomplishments and failures; and finally propose some Recommendations and ideas to strength the Arab League.
