This book is a scholarly work which attempts to study Unemployment and the role of the National Directorate of Employment in reduce it in Kaduna State. It sought to know why the Unemployment rate in Nigeria is on a perpetual rise in spite of the presence of the National Directorate of Employment whose main objective is to combat unemployment through skills acquisition programmes. To find out, and proffer possible solutions, to factors hindering the attainment of the main objective. The outstanding feature of the book is its articulateness.
