Revision with unchanged content. Objectives in the affective domain are commonly found in modern school curricula. This interest has logically stimulated interest in the measurement of the achievement of these objectives, particularly those which could be labelled "attitude" objectives. Negative attitudes hinder students´ learning and motivation. Promoting positive attitudes towards school, and school curriculum like math, and science has been one of the main goals of all educational activities. Therefore, attitudes and attitude measurement has been a major concern for psychologists, policy makers and others not only because of it´s influence on other psychological concepts like learning and motivation, but also because of the relationship between attitudes and human behaviour. So, the main purpose of this study is to develop an attitude measurement instrument and establish its psychometric properties. The second purpose is to measure tenth-grade Students´ attitudes towards vocational education and find out which background variables best explain the differences in students´ attitudes. The third purpose is to describe, explain and interpret the relationship between students´ attitudes and their behaviour.
