Keiko Funatsu, geboren und aufgewachsen in Kyoto, Germanistin, lebt seit 2004 in München. Während Ihres Studiums an der LMU in München war sie Stipendiatin der Rotary Foundation International. Sie ist als Autorin, Übersetzerin und Lehrerin in München und Kyoto tätig.
Momo Nishimura, geboren in Osaka, kam 2006 nach München. Im Jahr darauf erhielt sie ein Stipendium in der Internationalen Jugendbibliothek auf Schloß Blutenburg, München. Sie illustriert Kinderbücher.
