"Mohamed Rabie´s new book, Saving Capitalism and Democracy, provides a broad historical sweep of human development that masterfully explores the inter-connection of economic, social and political forces from the beginning of human awareness. It is a deeply philosophical book made possible by the author´s personal and professional biography. The dynamics of previous stages of development inform the author´s cogent analysis of contemporary dysfunctions and his fresh recommendations for overcoming the current global crisis." - Ann Philips, Public Policy Scholar, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, USA
