Numerous renowned sporting goods manufacturers regularly praise new energy efficient technologies of Running surfaces and footwear development with their considerate influence on the joints and ankles. The purpose of this study was to investigate the reproducibility of kinetics and kinematics in running on various foot/shoe-ground interfaces. This study was designed to examine the similarity of kinetic and kinematic running data. To assess this similarity of various trials for several subjects under different test conditions, the coefficient of multiple correlations (CMC) and the root mean square values (RMS) were computed. The results of this investigation indicate that the group of subjects evaluated in this study, ran repeatably within one test condition on different foot/shoe-ground interfaces.
Joscha Harms, born in 1985, studied Sports Sciences with the specialization Economy & Management at the German Sport University Cologne. Being an active runner, he collected comprising experiences in the field of running shoe technologies with renowned sporting goods manufacturers such as PUMA & SCOTT Sports. Today he lives and works in Switzerland
