Demographical and medical statistics of patients are required by the radiation oncology department of the Sozialmedizinisches Zentrum Ost - Donauspital (SMZO) to improve their radiation therapy workflow and processes. The patient information is stored in a radiation oncology information system called Lantis. As the amount of patient data increases over time, the need for descriptive statistics rises. This book takes a closer look at how data is extracted from Lantis and how the extracted data is transformed into statistical charts.

Xin Lu, born 1989, grew up in Vienna, MSc. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, has been living in Vienna since 1998, where he graduated from the technical college Spengergasse.
