The book is about workers rights and human insecurity in the textile industries. The workers feel socially and professionally secure at the workplace if the work environment is congenial. The book is based on the review on workers rights, status and feelings/satisfaction of the workers, awareness about their rights at workplace and insecurity and their socio-economic concerns in the society. Qualitative and quantitative research methodologies are used. It is concluded that workers should be given the rights of respect, freedom, education, safety and dignity, kindness, proper and timely wages, and freedom form unions. They should be provided the opportunities to aware about their basic rights. This study emphasizes the social need for organizational justice as a strong driver of organizational commitment. Fair and equitable salary system might satisfy the workers and the availability of basic facilities, equal opportunity, fair treatment and merit-based promotions could contribute in reducing the insecurity.
