Have you ever thought that each time you throw a juice can or a candy wrapper by the road side or in the open space you are indirectly destroying a living organism? You may say how? If you start reading this book, it will tell exactly how irresponsible we human beings are towards our other fellow beings. Here is an account of the direct impact of contaminated water on a reservoir and its effects in damaging and depleting the number of organisms inhabiting it. The abnormal structural features observed on the tissues and organs of the fish are the clear indications of the presence of toxic chemicals in the reservoir and poor health status of the fishes as well as other aquatic organisms. The primary cause for all this is unregulated discharge of household and industrial effluents in to the reservoir. Therefore, for all those who care for Mother Earth, this is a book one has to go through.
