"A valuable contribution to the richly developing literature on the Europeanization of civil society. Combining a political sociology perspective with public policy insights, she examines CSOs primarily as dependent variables upon which the EU impacts through a number of factors such as access or funding ... . This book is an excellent resource for scholars and students working in this field." (Markus Thiel, Journal of Common Market Studies, Vol. 54 (1), 2016)
