This book provide an integrated overview on the ostrich heart in comparative with other domestic and wild birds.Recently, the ostrich industry has led to increasing the demand for information about this bird of special characters and how to manage it. Hence, ostrich farming is improving greatly these years, and research into ostrich anatomy and histology is also picking up. The lack of previous study on the ostrich heart necessitates the carrying out of present book and our hopes that the result obtained may be of anatomical value for science and practitioners to complete the circle of anatomy of heart in veterinary anatomy textbooks

Mohamed M. A. Abumandour was born on Kafre El-sheik, Egypt. I got a DVM (B.V.SC) degree in veterinary science 2004, and Master degree in 2007 and PhD degree in 2011 of Anatomy from Anatomy and Embryology department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. Now 2014, my Present Appointment is Lecture of Anatomy and embryology.
