The United States has one of the world´s largest international student populations. This study examines the educational and cultural impact of international students on American students and faculty at an Appalachian university. Independent t-test samples were run to compare perceptions regarding the impact of international students on American students and faculty from two groups of academic departments. The study also sheds light on American student and faculty perceptions of five international ethnic groups. This research confirms the many contributions of international students, and it is intended for educators, politicians, international education practitioners, immigration specialists, and senior leaders of higher education institutions.
