Travelling for business has become a commonplace in today´s professional environment. It plays a major role in the global economy as it supports the production of services and goods. The proliferation of business trips has an impact on work/life balance, transportation services and infrastructures. Business mobility requires specific services and produces specific patterns. Within companies, corporate mobility regimes frame employees´ behaviours. This study investigates the impacts of business mobility on transportation hubs, corporate management and travel patterns. The objective is to lead to a better understanding of the challenges, competing values and motivations of business travellers and corporate travel managers.
