Three spanner fairies appear out of nowhere in the house of the renowned scholar Christiaan Huygens. So, at least, his butler Aadrian believes. Huygens himself thinks these three creatures - the Abrafaxe - are extraterrestrials and this is how he introduces them to his friend the multi-talented scholar Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz.
