G. R. Berridge is Emeritus Professor at the University of Leicester, UK, and a Senior Fellow of DiploFoundation. He was for some time general editor of Palgrave Macmillan´s Studies in Diplomacy and International Relations series, and an associate editor of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. The most recent of his many books on diplomacy is A Diplomatic Whistleblower in the Victorian Era (2013).
